Privacy Policy

This policy applies to page visits and download links on V2Ray Download Center. It explains how related data is handled and what controls visitors can use. This site provides client information and setup guides; it is not the official development team behind v2rayN, v2rayNG, or v2flyNG. This policy does not cover how the clients themselves handle data.

1. Data We Collect

This is a static content site. It does not offer account registration, email subscriptions, or hosted online configurations, and it does not ask visitors to submit their names, email addresses, subscription URLs, or server credentials. You can read the guides and choose a download platform without creating a profile.

When you visit a page, the infrastructure that hosts the site and delivers network traffic may generate request logs. These can include your IP address, visit time, requested path, response status, browser identifier, and referring page. This technical information supports page delivery, troubleshooting, and security. It does not mean the site can access files on your device or read client configurations.

Do not add real subscription URLs, passwords, or tokens to query parameters in page addresses on this site. Examples in the documentation are for illustrating formats only. Pasting a subscription URL into a client does not send it to this site just because you are browsing the site at the same time.

2. Analytics and How Data Is Used

Site analytics help us understand how visitors use the pages and which download platforms they choose. Analytics may record page paths, referral categories, visit times, device and browser types, and events such as clicks or platform switches. This information helps us assess whether guides are easy to find, check that download links work, and diagnose layout issues.

Analytics focus on overall traffic trends. They are not used to build account profiles, and visitors are not asked to submit client connection logs, proxy traffic, or subscription credentials. Network services may process IP information needed to handle connections, so analytics should not be described as completely anonymous.

Operational logs and analytics data should be retained and used only as needed for the purposes described above. Retention periods depend on deployment settings and infrastructure policies; this page does not promise a fixed number of days. Selling visitors’ personal information is not a business purpose of this site.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Analytics tools may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to distinguish sessions and repeat visits. Whether they are set, and how long they last, depends on the analytics configuration and browser restrictions. Browser caching of page resources reduces repeat downloads and is different from storing account information.

Page tabs restore the selected view using a fragment identifier in the URL; they do not need to store subscription content locally. This site does not require cookies or local storage to hold server passwords, subscription tokens, or full proxy configurations.

You can block cookies, clear site data, or restrict scripts in your browser settings. These choices may affect analytics and some interactive features, but static page content remains available. Clearing browser data does not remove server logs that were already generated.

4. Download Sources and Third-Party Services

The download page uses a same-origin download endpoint to retrieve package listings. File delivery may involve a separate file distribution service or redirects. Seeing this site’s domain in an address does not mean the client was developed here or that every file is hosted on this site’s servers.

When you start a download or open an external link, the services involved may receive network information needed to fulfill the request. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle that data. Before downloading, check the final URL, filename, and system architecture. After installation, the client and the service you choose determine subscription updates, connections, and diagnostics.

5. Policy Updates and Questions

This policy may be revised if site analytics settings, hosting arrangements, or download services change. The date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Any material change to how data is handled will be clearly described in the revised terms. Please review this page again when needed.
